Whisky Basin
Back in the 1880's a trail herd out of Texas bound for Montana, lost its way and stumbled across the preetiest little valley a feller ever laid eyes upon.
Well sir, they decided to let Montana get their own beef, and they settled down right there in the Basin. First thing they did was to have the southern boys set-up a still. The second thing was to have the cook from Kansas City come up with a really great barbecue sauce.
In no time at all, that cook and those moonshiners fell in cahoots and what came out of it all was a world class hang-over and the best darn barbecue sauce ya ever burned a lip on
To this day the descendants of those cowboys live and barbecue deep in the Whisky Basin. You can try it on everything from eggs to prime rib. You are gonna love it.
