  Lum Taylor
Once upon a time, or so the story goes, there was a riverboat caption on the Mississippi named Lum Taylor.
He loved all the wonderful barbecue sauces and flavors he found in his travels from St. Louis to New Orleans.
He worked on his own recipe to combine the tangy flavor of the south with the full bodied sweetness of the northern port's sauces.
This barbecue sauce, passed down from generation to generation, is the result of his efforts.
