Pu-erh Tea is a fully fermented tea which can only be made with a specific variety of broad-leaf tea plant. Pu-erh tea leaves are kneaded and dried in the natural sunlight. Its unique indoor pile-fermentation, and other subtle processing controls, make it a rare and treasured product. The production of pu-erh is restricted to a small area of Southwestern China.

Old vintages of Pu-erh are quite expensive and rare in the international tea market.
